Hi, I'm Shirley, a Legal Celebrant based in Limerick, helping couples across Ireland create wedding ceremonies that feel relaxed, meaningful, and unmistakably their own. I’ve always believed the best ceremonies are the ones where couples stop worrying about “getting it right” and simply settle into the moment together. 

I take time to understand not only your story, but also the atmosphere you want to create and the experience you want your guests to leave with. Alongside the personal elements of the ceremony, I guide you clearly through the legal process so everything feels organised, manageable, and well supported from beginning to end.

Why I Became a Celebrant
 

When my husband and I got married, we had a traditional church ceremony because there were very few alternatives available at the time. Today, couples have the freedom to create a ceremony that reflects who they are, what matters to them, and how they want their day to feel.
 

Seeing that change inspired me to become a celebrant. I love helping couples create a ceremony that feels authentic to them while providing the reassurance and guidance needed to make the whole process feel easy and enjoyable.

 

When I'm not creating ceremonies, you'll often find me exploring the countryside on a hike or enjoying life on the beautiful West Limerick coast with my family.
 

My aim is to create ceremonies that feel sincere, engaging, and deeply personal, while ensuring every couple feels supported and confident throughout the journey.
